Blood pressure

There is good evidence that exposures while still in the womb, and factors such as growth patterns in early in life, can influence blood pressure.  And also that blood pressure in adolescents can predict blood pressure in later life.  So, we are currently measuring blood pressure at age 10 or 11 years to see how factors such as birth weight and exposures to infection influence blood pressure (Protocol).
